Fortnite Battle Royale has been gaining traction since the end of 2017. With new changes every season, this game is quickly climbing to one of the most popular battle royale games currently on the market.
While the Fortnite Battle Royale is free to play, Fortnite has its own currency called V Bucks, which can be purchased and used both with Battle Royale and Save the World. Save the World is the second part of Fortnite and is a co-op third-person shooter survival game. Both of these modes use V Bucks to gain perks or cosmetics to the game, depending on which version of Fortnite you're playing.
What are Fortnite V bucks. V Bucks is a currency that is used within Fortnite. They can be used when playing Save the World or Battle Royale. V Bucks can only be purchased in bundles. Currently, there is a bonus in the Fortnite Battle Royale item shop so the exchange in United States currency is $10 for 1,000 V Bucks, $24.99 for 2,800 V Bucks, $39.99 for 5,00 V Bucks, or $99.99 for 13,500 V Bucks. Bonuses come and go when it comes to V Bucks so anything above $10 for 1000 v bucks can change on any given day. The one price that remains standard, however, is the $10 for 1,000 V Bucks.
What can you buy with V bucks. Your purchase options with V Bucks depends on which game mode you're playing. On Battle Royale, you can buy skins, emotes, back bling, pickaxes, or weapon wraps. These items are purely cosmetic, however, and will not increase your gameplay. They are just to do cool dances with your friends or get skins that match each other. You can also buy music discs that play in your lobby. On Save the World, V Bucks are used when purchasing things like skins, weapon schematics, llamas, etc. On Save the World, V Bucks can be used to enhance your gaming experience because you can buy crafting items to make your weapons better. You can also purchase better weapons. On Battle Royale, V Bucks are purely cosmetic because you don't keep any of your weapons. With Save the World, however, you do keep your weapon schematics so the more you upgrade, the better your weapons are, the quicker you eliminate zombies. When playing Save the World, there are often events in which you earn tickets or gold that go towards survivors, heroes, mechanics, schematics, or weapons themselves. You can use V Bucks to buy these tickets and purchase these items. You can level up higher rarity weapons so that you're stronger in the game, which can improve your gameplay and experience.
Gifting fortnite V bucks. At this time, there's no way to gift V Bucks in Fortnite. There is currently an option in Battle Royale to gift items in the item shop to friends on your friend's list, but you cannot purchase V Bucks and send them to anyone else. The only way to "gift" V Bucks, is to buy a money card that the person can use to buy V Bucks. For example, if your friend is an Xbox user, you can buy a $10 Xbox card so they can use it to buy V Bucks in the Fortnite item shop.
Fortnite V bucks generator. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a V Bucks generator. Typically, when googling the Internet for V Bucks or "how to get free v bucks" people will run across thread pages with users commenting claiming they have a link to get free v bucks. These generators are not real and are a scam. They usually lead back to either dead websites, or, some lead back to spam websites. The biggest problem with these links is that anyone can put a tracking code into the link or embed spyware into it. If you've recently clicked a link for a free v bucks generator, it's likely that you should start scrubbing your device with a free spyware and malware program to make sure you're safe. You can only get V Bucks if you purchase them through the Fortnite store.
